The English subject

On these days, we are obligated to adapt to the circumstances, and the coronavirus pandemic has changed our lives in a particular way. I mean we are sitting in our houses all the time, and the only way for human contact is through a virtual window. The English subject has been an opportunity to dialogue with other classmates meanwhile we are learning a new language. Some of us can feel a little awkward for keeping the video turned on, but seeing the teacher’s face all the time along the class gives a lot of compromise and real interaction, the sacrifice of the two parts is really honorable.

Writing a weekly blog and commenting on other classmate blog’s has been a very useful exercise. It is really enjoyable, sadly most of us sometimes cannot write the complete series of blogs because of working on a workshop, but the blogs that are finished are so nice, how the expressions are used to break the virtuality are so funny.

I guess my English it is still weak, but the answer to make it stronger is to keep more talks with other people, maybe with native English speakers to connect with the popular language. Watching movies with or without english subtitles can help to be related to English.

Outside of the English class I think that I use a lot of English, Most of the music that I heard is in English and that helps a lot with pronunciation. Computer games are also in English and some servers work better in the US or UK region. Interacting with the online community makes it more comfortable for English communication. I think that’s all and thanks for give a very dynamic class.
